Members of the Kings Lynn Triathlon club took part in the Rotary club’s Swimathon, which was held at St James pool on Saturday. The sixteen volunteer fundraisers were split into three teams. The junior team comprised of Thomas Elsdon, Lola Kidman, Sam Doughty, Tom and Olivia Doig and Samuel Liddel. Their challenge was to work as a relay team to swim as many lengths as possible within the hour, hopefully beating the 2 adult teams! They impressively racked up 165 lengths between them! Sharon and Darren Elsdon, Alice Page, Andre Delgado and Connie Page were determined not to let the juniors beat them. Giving it their all, they swam 180 lengths. Jess Cunningham, Phillip Ian, Chris Playford, Sohie Doig and Alistair Doig rose to the challenge that day as their team swam an impressive 187 lengths!
