Ronnie Robinson, Ian Kidman, Mark Fountain, and Judith Berry (Fountain and Berry running in Ryston kit) all set foot in the storm-battered Shouldham woods for the fifth event in the Ryston Runners AC Open Cross-Country Grand Prix Series.

A mild morning with surprisingly sheltered condition met runners this time racing over 9KM (5.6 miles)

Shouldham Warren is a beautiful undulating wooded area with well-developed trails. The runs predominantly stick to the main fire break trails that scatter the warren. Underfoot the conditions were extremely muddy in places, this particular route boasts some challenging undulations.

First over the line for KLTC was Kidman in 39:03 4th in his age group, Robinson continuing in his para triathlete journey was guided through his under 17’s course, which was one lap of the senior course (4.5km) by Fountain, Robinson achieved a time of 23:45 5th in his age group, Fountain, who then continued to complete a second lap and finished 42:29. Berry, came across the line 48:59 6th in her age group.

Lola Kidman running in the under 13/15s ran a 12:15 11th place overall and gained 3rd place age medal running for WNAC.
